Communion

Psalm 82

This lengthy (72 verses) psalm takes center stage in this string of 11 psalms by Asaph. It provides a review of Israel's history - warts and all. But the climax of this psalm is its reference to how the Holy One of Israel was wounded, using a unique Hebrew word that points directly at the cross.
