How many ways can you say 'eternity'? We discover several ways - or approximations, anyway - in Psalm 9, which is a song of thanksgiving. This is also our first acrostic psalm (whose verses follow the order of the Hebrew alphabet) - well, halfway through the alphabet, that is. The last half of the alphabet picks up in Psalm 10. (But that's another story.) This amazing psalm is full of twists and turns as it describes how God will deal with the nations of the world in days to come.

A Psalm for Deliverance From Confusion David is very confused. He may have done something wrong, but he isn't sure. If he did do something wrong, what was it? And if he didn't do something wrong, then why does he feel so guilty? Does this sound familiar to you in your own life - in the midst of your own confusion? This is one of the most difficult psalms to make sense of, but it is well worth the effort. As we work through David's confusion together, you may find that you have also worked through your own!

A Psalm for the Sick and Depressed We've all been there. You are sad, or ill, or both, and the whole world looks gloomy and you feel like everyone is against you. David felt the exact same way, at times. How is a person supposed to pray under such a burden of emotions? In this study we will see a subtle way in which David appealed to God as a child to its mother. We will also learn one the Bible's most important words - chesed (חסד).
