Leviticus 6:8-9 [6:1-2] Adonai spoke to Moses, saying, “Command Aaron and his sons, saying, ‘This is the torah of the elevation offering. The elevation offering shall be on the flame on the altar all night until the morning, and the fire of the altar shall be kept burning (יקד, yakad ) on it.’”
