Introduction

There are no religious words in the Bible – at least none that I can find. Of course, our English translations are filled with religious terminology. But the original Hebrew and Greek scriptures are written completely in the common vernacular of the day.

This series seeks to help us strip away the religious jargon that has encrusted the clear and beautiful message of the Bible. By returning to the purity of clear language, we can remove the linguistic barrier that separates us from those who need our message. I think you will be amazed at the insights you will glean by penetrating the lingo that has obscured the Bible’s light of truth.
