Why hasn’t Messiah returned yet? In addition to some fascinating details found in the Hebrew of this Torah portion, we discover the three things that must be accomplished before Messiah comes to do battle and reclaim His world.

Deuteronomy 17:20 … that his heart may not be lifted up above his brothers, and that he may not turn aside from the commandment, either to the right hand or to the left, so that he may continue long in his kingdom, he and his children, in Israel.

Three Reasons Messiah Has Not Yet Returned: Deuteronomy 20:5-7
#1 – Then the officers shall speak to the people, saying, “Is there any man who has built a new house and has not dedicated it? Let him go back to his house, lest he die in the battle and another man dedicate it.”
John 14:2-3 “In My Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to Myself, that where I am you may be also.”
#2 – “And is there any man who has planted a vineyard and has not enjoyed its fruit? Let him go back to his house, lest he die in the battle and another man enjoy its fruit.”
Matthew 26:29 “I tell you I will not drink again of this fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it new with you in My Father’s kingdom.”
#3 – “And is there any man who has betrothed a wife and has not taken her? Let him go back to his house, lest he die in the battle and another man take her.”
Revelation 19:7-9 Let us rejoice and exult and give Him the glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His bride has made herself ready. It was granted her to clothe herself with fine linen, bright and pure – for the fine linen is the righteous deeds of the holy ones. And the angel said to me, “Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.”
