Pirkei Avot is the most-read ancient work outside the Bible itself. It is filled with brilliant and wise advice from some of Israel’s most brilliant and wise Sages. It contains quotes from the Apostle Paul’s teacher R’ Gamaliel and is cited dozens of times in the New Testament scriptures.
